So... after three and a half long years, I am down to the final two weeks of class. Of course, this also means that I have a project and and three papers due within the next two weeks to finish the final two classes. But after that I will be finished with my MBA.
On Friday, Shawnna and I went to a reception for my graduating class. It was interesting to hear people talk about what they were going to do after they graduated. Some, like myself, plan on staying with the company that they are with. But a good number are looking to or already have changed companies. I'm sure that Shawnna enjoyed us reminiscing about people, professors and assignments. But, it gave us an excuse to dress up and go downtown (boring married folk and all).
Looking back on the MBA program, I have really enjoyed it and have learned a lot of extremely useful skills. It has given me a lot perspective on the reasons behind some of the decisions that my company makes and other companies make. That being said, I am definitely ready for the final class.
