The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Good: To start off with some good news, today was a good day. I am finished with my MBA as of tonight. After three long years (3 and half with pre-reqs) and I am done. On top of that, today was my last day of work for the rest of the year. For two weeks I have nothing at all to do, except for the hopefully infrequent call from work (stupid 24/7 coverage).

The Packers improved to 12-2 and the Cowboys lose to fall to 12-2 also. Two more wins by the Pack and another Cowboys loss and the Packers get homefield throughout the playoffs.

The Bad: So was anyone else extremely disappointed by the puny amount of snow that we got this weekend??? Don't tell me 7-12 inches and then give me 4". On top of that, they are calling for 50 Deg on Saturday. http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/46217?from=36hr_fcst10DayLink_undeclared. Speaking of the Packers, my brother managed to get some tickets to the game this weekend, so he got to see Favre set the all time passing yardage record in person.

The Ugly: Last weekend, after a relaxing weekend, our Sunday night went like this: "Did you notice that the washer isn't spinning?" As I am crawling around behind the washer trying to figure out how to disconnect it so that I can attempt to check the like two things that I might be able to actually fix, we hear a loud crash. We scramble in to the living room to see our newly decorated Christmas tree laying on the floor. So, within minutes of a nice relaxing evening, we are scrambling to change the base on the tree, attempt to fix the washer, and of course, cleaning up water from both of these things. But, the tree is still upright after a week and we have a new washer. Guess these are just the things that keeps life interesting.
