On Sunday we went to Kohls to shop for a couple shirts for House. After we shopped for him, we perused the womens department. I found a dress I wanted to try on. There wasn't a zipper, only a billion buttons, ok, like 10, on the back...which I could not reach on my own, so I stepped out to main the door of the fitting room to have him help me. At which point, a older-ish woman approached us and we had an encounter that went like this:
Lady: "You can't go in there" to my husband.
GirlHouse: Turned, looked her in the eye and said with a smile "He's not going in"
House: "I'm just helping her with the buttons"
Lady: "Well he can't be that close to the dressing room"
GirlHouse: Jokingly, but annoyed "Then let me walk out half naked"
Lady: It's a cute dress, would you like me to help you with it?
GirlHouse: (By this point he had finished buttoning it up....and I was thinking WTF lady??? Yeah, I really want you to freaking touch me!!!!) Still smiling "No, I'm fine, thanks"
OK, I totally understand where this lady was coming from, really I do!! BUT, my husband isn't some weird-o to likes to watch women's ankles while they try on clothes. He was not IN the room. There was only one other women trying things on (and was not coming in and out). There there is not a sign that designates it as "Women's"
I understand she was just doing her job, but Come On!!
Well the dress didn't fit quite right, and even if it did, I was so annoyed that I wouldn't have bought it anyway.
Whew, I feel better now! Thank you Internet, for being a good listener.

(I bet Kacey writes a hate message on here about Kohls...)
He is right!!!! Merely an example of why I stopped shopping at Kohl's when I was... old enough to drive myself somewhere else! They price swap and don't give you the right price among many other infallacies. To the point one year I got a Kohl's gift certificate and I didn't want it, and received bad gifts that it wasn't worth my time to return! Friends who have had clothes fall apart the first time they were worn! Save yourself now and be Kohl's free.
I've had some bad experiences with Kohl's employees also... however, Kohls is one of my favorite places to shop for clothes. I always seem to find really good deals.
Also, have fun in Hawaii!
