March Madness!!!!

CBS made the best decision ever when they decided to stream every game on-line. I have been able to watch all of both Wisconsin games instead of 15 minutes of each game if I had to rely on TV only.

It is a good thing that Wisconsin (and so far Marquette also) is doing well, because Duke screwed up my bracket. That was one of those picks that after the first round game you wish you could change after watching the first round game.

So this post doesn't have a real purpose other than I haven't posted in a while, I'll throw in one more cool thing that I found online a couple of weeks ago.
http://nintendo8.com/toplist/more/
For any of you who wish you could play your old Nintendo games (without a Wii) this site has a ton of old Nintendo games that you can play on your computer. I have found it a little difficult to use the keyboard instead of simple controller (mostly because the right and left hand are backwards).

Thats about all I have. Hopefully the weather will straighten up here soon so we can finish working in our yard after starting last week.

Everybody has my computer!!

So my schedule this week a bit jacked--- teach 2 periods--off for 4 hours (hours not periods)--teach 3 periods at a completely different school. Well, today instead of going home after I worked out or handing more of our money to the devil a.k.a Walmart (although I did find a case of water for $3.00..should've bought two)....anyway...so I remembered that Panera Bread has free WiFi. Girly Coffee and the Net--I'm There!!
So here I am...being a yuppy with my Carmel Latte, my Dell, and cute toe nails ...and I look around..... 5 other people have my computer!! I kid you not! Five! One lady's screen is twice the size of mine, and it must weigh 20 lbs, but other wise, they all look the same........Insert Twilight Zone music here........." Some where in middle America sits a young woman....................

News of the Week

ECHO GOT ADOPTED!!!!
This is by far the cutest dog EVER!! Yes, cuter than my own!!???

Before you run out and adopt your own cutie from a rescue or shelter, please remember that these animals are a commitment. By adopting you are vowing to love, nurture, care for, and provide a safe home.

And-----We bought snorkel gear!!
We realized that we would spend almost as much renting gear while we are on vacation ad the cost to buy your own. Also, it is better quality than what is rented, our masks fit our faces, and we aren't sharing mouth germs with any one. Yes, I realized rental companies "clean/sanitize" their gear, but I feel way more comfortable knowing that my snorkel has only been in my mouth! And this way we won't have to deal with renting and returning anything. We can hop of the plane and hop right in the ocean : ) OK, maybe not quite, but you know what I mean.

You have GOT to SEE this!!

This guy was on Ellen this week. It is 4 minutes long but the ending is completely worth it. I hadn't a clue what he was trying to paint, but then ..with a spin I was utterly amazed !!

I.HATE.THIS.WEATHER.!!!

Here's our local forecast for this week:

WED THUR FRI SAT SUN
H 35 H 39 H 29 H 25 H30
L 22 L 27 L27 L 19 L16

Sunday and Monday were beautiful!!! Nearly 60 degrees..which is un-heard of for February in Indiana. Then Mother Nature made us pay for it on Tuesday...when the temp plummeted and we had tons and tons of rain, that turned to freezing rain during rush hour, then to snow over night. Our back yard looks like a mud pit! Not Joking!!! All these crazy weather changes are wreaking havoc on my sinuses by the way!

I did however; learn that the scanner has the ability to scan more than one pic at a time! WOO HOO!!
I also learned that frozen veggies you steam in the bag are TERRIBLE! Who thought this was a good idea??...and have they ever actually tasted them???? I doubt it.
