My New Favorite Beverage...
Have you tried V8 Spicy Hot??

It is my new favorite beverage! It's V8 with a kick! However V8 is soooo expensive.. 3.50 for tomato juice??? It temps me to buy one of those Jack LaLanne juicers that used to be advertised on T.V. Now, if they came out with Low Sodium, Spicy Hot I'd be in h-e-a-v-e-n.

Super Bowl? Bah Humbug
What a disappointing way for the Packer's season to end last night. After a season of achieving much more than anyone had thought possible, for it to end with them playing at home, in the cold, and losing was just heartbreaking. Even Shawnna was screaming at the TV. Hopefully, Favre will be back for another year to rinse the taste of that game out of his mouth.
Then, to top it off, New England had already won setting up a Super Bowl that I have absolutely no desire to see. If I wanted to see 30 point blow-outs, I would watch non-conference college football. But, I will of course end up watching it, if nothing else for the commercials.

Can't wait until next year. I'm going to put in my early prediction of Super Bowl champs.
GO PACK!!!!

Post-Christmas Blah-ness
OK, I'm just gonna come out and say it..January Sucks! I mean it really does!! Its rainy and mucky.....the house has been stripped of all things Christmas related...no decked halls, no pine scent from the tree, no glow of lights..not even a fun holiday in sight. in an attempt to keep the cheer around here I did however leave out my snowmen, but now I feel like one of those snowmen collector people who leave them out all year round...because, well it was 60 FREAKIN DEGREES two days this week!! Which is absurd!! Couldn't we just have some snow and a sunny sky?? The yard looks like crap...at least when there is snow on the ground, its "winter wonderland-ish" out there...but with rain and contant greyness and dogs tearing up the grass...it just looks .... looks....well...... Blah!
On a happier note... a couple that we are friends with told us they are expecting...awww...babies : )

Happy New Year
So after our adventures with household appliances and seasonal decorations, we had a pretty nice holiday season.

They were completely exhausted by the time that we came home and slept for over 14 hour straight the first night we were back.
Our Christmas tree remained vertical for the remainder of Christmas and like every year, it looked very nice along with the rest of the house. We always end up with two trees in the house. One real tree, colored lights, mix and match ornaments and one artificial tree with white lights and coordinated ornaments.
After Christmas, we then spent a couple of days in Wisconsin with the Householder's. We had family Christmas and Daniel got to watch his brother Kyle wrestle and take 4th (out of 38) in the MidStates Tournament.
One of the best parts of going up to Wisconsin was that we got 6-7 inches of snow while we were up there. The dogs love to run at their "country" home while we were in Wisconsin and the snow just made it even better.
